How much does it cost to attend?

Are there any discounted rates?

Discounted rates are available for students: MD, PhD or equivalent higher degree, not awarded prior to Dec 31st 2019. We must receive an email to [email protected] from your director certifying your status. If the email is not received within 7 days of registering, you will be charged an additional fee.

How do I register?

All registrations can be made on the online shop. Please note this booking system only allows payment via PayPal or credit/debit card. For alternative payment methods, please contact [email protected].

How do I request an invoice?

How do I request a receipt?

Once the payment process has been completed, you’ll receive an email confirming the items you have purchased.

Will I have to pay VAT?

Delegate fees: you will only need to pay VAT on guest tickets.

Accommodation: VAT is included in the price advertised.

Can I attend the main conference social event?

You’ll have the option to add a ticket to the main conference social event during the registration process. Tickets are £50 per person and include return coach travel to and from the University. The event will take place at the Custard Factory in Birmingham’s Digbeth, and includes a three-course street food feast, some complimentary drinks, and entertainment. A cash bar will also be available.

The guest ticket includes access to the main conference social event.

Is the conference baby/child-friendly?

There will be a dedicated room for baby/child play, providing a space away from the main conference to breastfeed and for small children to play. Please note that you will be responsible for the care of your baby/child throughout the conference. There will be no babysitting/childminding service in place.

Can I cancel my place?

You can cancel your Biomag2021 booking within 14 calendar days of your purchase if this is prior to the conference.               

If you do wish to cancel you must inform the University by email: [email protected]  

Refunds less an administration fee of £10 will be made as soon as possible following cancellation.

I’ve forgotten my password for the online shop. How do I reset it?

At each log-in stage, you’ll see a Forgotten Password button. Enter your email address, and a reset password link will be emailed to you almost immediately.
